I use NLP to map out how your mind works and how you interact with yourself, which means I can then use this information to reprogramme any negative thinking patterns.
What is NLP?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a tool used in Life Coaching Services to help you to understand your thoughts, feelings and actions. By identifying how your “mental map” is formed through “Neuro” (the stimulus from the outer world), “Linguistic” (The personal meaning you assign to that stimulus) and finally “Programming” (the behavioural response to the linguistic map). A good example of this is thinking of your “mental map” as a process:
- You overhear people laughing as you walk past.
- You assign context to the stimulus – they are laughing at you because of “x”.
- You react emotionally to the stimulus.
By isolating and correcting the errors in your linguistic maps, you can begin to understand yourself better and in turn, become a more authentic version of yourself.
Why might I need life coaching?
As an unbiased observer in your life, a life coach can assist your decision making without passing judgement or pretending to be interested.
The goal of a life coach is to help you reach the best possible version of yourself in all aspects of your life. It is important to note that a life coach is not a therapist. The goal of therapy is to focus on your mental health and emotional wellbeing.

“I did not have a clear goal before commencing the sessions. Lisa used a variety of tools which helped me to identify my priorities for the sessions.
